Abstract
The article substantiates the perception of music by Russian people, which reflects the inner world of the people, their values, and cultural traits. The music reflects the feelings and emotional state of the people at different times. In this case, special attention is paid to such a genre as Russian rock. Russian rock music is viewed as a specific musical genre that reflects the values and conceptual foundations of Russian culture, as the original purpose of a Russian rock song is to express your feelings. This article pays special attention to the work of Konstantin Kinchev and his artistic growth. It examines the main stages in the development of Kinchev's work, the change in his worldview and spiritual values with a focus on the later works of Konstantin Kinchev and the image of Russia in them. Also, of a particular interest are the lyrics of songs written before and after Kinchev became an Orthodox Christian, their lexical composition and linguo-culturological potential. The article examines the lyrics of songs from the albums "Energy", "Blockade", "Sabbat", "For those who fell from the moon", "Fool", "Solntsevorot" and others. The author also carries out the lexical, grammatical, and cultural analysis of the songs "Sky of the Slavs" and "Homeland", which are most interesting from the point of view of the cultural characteristics of the Russian people. These songs represent the concept of "Motherland", which is very important for the Russian people, as well as the image of Russia as a whole. Special emphasis is placed on Orthodoxy as the main worldview for the Russian people
