The article presents the results of the statistical analysis of the degree of lexical similarity and difference - in relation to A.S. Pushkin‘s poetic language - in the lexicons of a number of poets of the first half of the 19th century of different generations and literary eras (N.M. Karamzin, I.I. Dmitriyev, D.V. Davydov, K.N. Batyushkov, P.A. Vyazemsky, K.F. Ryleyev, A.A. Delvig, N.M. Yazykov, A.I. Polezhayev, D.V. Venevitinov, M.Yu. Lermontov). The aim of the study was to find out who of the contemporaries of the classical author (and in what quantitative degree) is closer to his individual poetic style. The study was based on the vocabularies of these writers, on the basis of which we carried out statistical experiments in samples with the letters A, Б, Ю, Я. The authors discovered that Lermontov, Vyazemsky and Polezhayev are the closest writers to Pushkin according to the language parameters (41.1 %, 38.9 %, 36.1 % of lexical commonality respectively, based on the -common, difference in one, difference in other? triad); for the poets of -Pushkin‘s pleiad? they are Vyazemsky and Yazykov (38.9 % and 35,9 % respectively); on the contrary, Venevitinov (16,1 %) and Davydov (18 %) are relatively distant from him. Dmitriyev (35,6 %), Batyushkov (30,4 %), Karamzin (29,2 %), Ryleyev (27,7 %) are closer to Pushkin in their lexicons among older contemporaries. Vocabularies of Polezhayev (23.2 %) and Vyazemsky (20.2 % - in the early period of the poet‘s creative activity) differ with the greatest originality from Pushkin‘s work.
