Abstract
The article covers the history of automated poetic writing. The authors provides select examples of the poetic history of XX and XXI centuries (related to futurism, surrealism, literary constructivism, constrained writing and digital poetry, Language School, modern poetry) and theoretical concepts of theorization of reality augmented by technology (Deleuze and Guattari, Haraway, Parisi, etc.). Based on this material, the author considers various approaches of the machine component in our culture in its connection to the automation of writing. In addition, the article touches upon the revision of poetic writing and its modes influenced by the machine evolution. The main topic addressed by the paper is the subject and its relation to the intermediator power of technology and poetry together. The author argues that perception of poetic writing was transformed mainly through influence of automation possibilities and, accordingly, the capabilities of the subject, which led to the invention of a similar way of producing text in poetic writing and experimental computer poetry. In the latest cultural situation of the late XX - early XXI centuries the ?machine subject‘ in art has already experienced critical preparation of its assemblages; now this kind of subjectivity is more often connected with alternative foundations of (non)identity based on technology.
