The section Above Barriers (Literature about Literature) publishes the story The Horror by the Nizhny Novgorod poet and novelist Denis Lipatov. The preface to the story describes the main artistic techniques used in its creation and indicates the historical and cultural context, which probably was taken into account by the author in the creation of the work. Moreover the article argues that the story has value both as a parodic re-imagining of the Sumarokov myth and as a material which stimulates the study of different aspects of literary studies (theory of genres, mechanisms of literary reputation, intertextuality)
