The article describes the talks made during the XLVIII International Scientific Conference "Boldino Readings" held on September 15-17, 2020 in the A.S. Pushkin State Literary-Memorial and Natural Museum-Reserve "Boldino" (Bolshoye Boldino village, Nizhny Novgorod Region). In terms of content, they were devoted to the poetics of Pushkin's works, their genre originality, the emergence of the local Boldino text, specifics of recreating the national flavor in the artistic consciousness of Alexander Pushkin, historical and literary parallels and perception of the heritage of Alexander Pushkin by a foreign reader. In addition, the article provides brief information on the history of the conference and describes the specifics of its organization under current epidemiological conditions.
